The purpose of this handbook is to provide guidance in the planning and execution of involuntary resettlement associated with IFC investment projects. The Handbook covers issues such as Compensation Framework (p28), Resettlement Assistance and Livelihood (p34) and Budget and Implementation Schedule (p41). Further, page 71, contains information about valuation and compensation of lost assets, and land tenure, acquisition and transfer.
